Here I am. I've got my own digital camera now (Panasonic Lumix FZ-15), and I like it. It's not an SLR, but my budget wasn't very big. If anybody else has this camera or has used it, I would be very interested to see their work. I'm very eager to see what this camera is capable of, because I've definately not been using it enough to find out for myself.

Well...It's been a long time since I've posted anything, but I'm back now. Honestly, I lost motivation and interest to take any more photos. Not to mention I ran out of money for buying film, having it processed, and then put on cd. What has changed you ask? My boss (who is a commercial photographer) just got a brand new Nikon D100 and a couple of awesome lenses to go with it and loaned them to me to learn how to use. So I'm just a tad stoked, and I've been loving taking shots with it. It is a remarkable camera and lense.

I won't always have this camera, but I think my boss will let me take it home on the weekends occasionally. In the mean time, I'm really trying hard to save up to buy a Canon Powershot A75. Yeah, I know. It's not anywhere near the same league as the D100, but at least maybe I will continue to take pictures if I have a digital camera.

Hello anybody who is reading this. I just saw an incredible movie a couple of nights ago and wanted to pass on my recommendation. The movie is "13" and it stars Evan Rachel Wood (who is absolutely incredible) and Nicki Reed (who co-wrote the movie at age 13 based on actual experiences in her life). The movie is one that maybe a lot of you have heard of, but where I'm from not many people have. Anyways, check it out if you get a chance one night. I don't think you'll regret it. The acting, story, everything is superb.

Also, a few months ago I got the privilege to check out Blue Man Group live on tour, and it was awesome. Probably one of the best live shows I've ever seen. There was a group that opened for them that was really good group called "Venus Hum". I bought their cd, and while it's not nearly as good as seeing them live, it's very good. They're not very well known, but they should get more recognition than they do. During the concert, the lead singer had one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard. Although, the cd doesn't do her justice.

So there you have it. I'm off to bed now cuz I'm tired. 2 hours of some serious basketball, plus work, plus school will do that to you.

So I finally broke down and paid to subscribe to DeviantArt several days ago. I was assuming that I would pay and get a better overall experience. And that was true for the first couple of days, but now there's a serious problem.

When I click on my new messages to go to the page that shows me new deviations, comments, notes, and journal entries, I can see most of the pictures, but after I've visited that page, I can't see any pictures on any web site, including DeviantArt. That's a huge problem, because I'll see a thumbnail of a deviation I like, but I can't view it. I can't view anything. Buttons, avatars, anything. On any site. I have to close and restart my browser to get things back to normal.

I thought maybe this would just go away, but it's been at leaster 3 or 4 days now that it's done this every time I visit. So anyway, I sent a note to DeviantArt in hopes that they can fix my problem. It sure makes it hard to comment when I can't see people's art.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? Or am I just so lucky to have this happen only to me?

I just want to say what a great community this is. I haven't been here very long but most of the people I've come across have been very nice. I really appreciate everyone who has given me comments and added me to their devwatch. I'll try to not let you down and hopefully continue to submit some decent photos. Take care everybody.
